Quebec's 1.3KM Long Building That Has 440 Apts, 2 Schools, A Library, A Mall, & A Movie Theatre

In northeastern Quebec, there is a little town called Fermont with a pretty unusual building.

During the winter, the town would get so cold, that they actually built a structure to act as a windscreen. But it's far more than just a windscreen. 

It's a massive self-contained structure which features 440 apartments, stores, bars, a hotel, restaurants, a supermarket, a swimming pool, and even a school!

It was actually built so that residents would never have leave the building during winter. 

The building measures 1.3 kilometers long, and stands 160 ft high. It has appropriately been dubbed: The Wall
