Poutine is world renowned and Quebec is most definitely the undisputed champion when it comes to the iconic dish. That means that if you have the best poutine in Quebec, you have the best poutine in the world. Which is why it would be irresponsible of us not to have a poutine festival because nothing is more important than crowning the poutine world champion.

Luckily, Drummondville has been having poutine festival every year for the last 8 years and MTL Blog are the first to know the dates of this year's event. The organizers of the event contacted us to let us know that this year's poutine festival will be taking place from August 27th to August 29th 2015.

The website hasn't been updated just yet but you can still check it out to see what took place last year. We're assuming tickets will be about the same price (20$ for a day pass and $35 for a 3 day passport). Last year's event featured 10 musical acts and 10 poutine vendors including Montreal's very own Au Pied de Cochon. We will be posting more updates as they become available.
