33 years ago, one of the greatest rock bands of all time came to Montreal and rocked the city's collective socks. The band in question is Queen, the performances, their November 14th and 15th shows at the Montreal Forum in 1981, and even though more than 30 years has passed, the effects of such an amazing performance are still felt today. I mean, we all clamored to see a short piece of the performance, and now we'll thankfully get a chance to see the full thing on the big screen.

Queen's Montreal performance, known as Queen Rock Montreal, will be getting a worldwide cinematic release on November 24th, to mark the concert's anniversary. A fullly re-mastered ultra high definition recording of the original performance, this will be the closest thing to a live performance those of us who were born too late to see Queen live will likely ever get.

Queen Rock Montreal has existedas an album since 2007, including iconic tracks like We Will Rock You, Somebody To Love, Killer Queen, and Under Pressure. The movie will surely add a much needed visual aspect to the Montreal performance, which was also the first time the band ever filmed an entire show.

Look for Queen Rock Montreal at local theatres on November 24th, 2014 and fully experience a moment of Montreal music history.
