Rick And Morty Season 4 Release Date Has Finally Been Announced

The wait is finally over... well kind of. The wait for the announcement of that ephemeral season 4 of Rick and Morty is finally over.

Adult Swim announced today that the 4th season of the adult cartoon is finally on its way, so at the very least fans don't have to sit around thinking the show is about to get cancelled.

Adult Swim tweeted today that the show will be back in November of this year, 2019, though no set date for the first episode was announced quite yet.

Take a look at the video below of Rick and Morty themselves announcing their inevitable return.

Ahhh how I missed there rambling and nonchalant voices washing over me. Rick, swigging away at his flask. Morty, as unsure of himself as ever. My old friends are back.

And I'm not the only one who can't wait for the new season... People on Twitter are already rejoicing.

Oh, yes, Adult Swim. We want to see what you got.

Would be nice if we didn't have to wait until November, that's for sure. But after last season, I'm not about to rush these boys. If we know what's good for us we will just shut up and wait and then be gobsmacked and thankful when it arrives.

Now that we all know there is a light at the end of the tunnel, we can take a deep breath and get truly excited. While it's not a movie, the episodes last season were so masterfully crafted and so complex in their storylines that I don't even care if we get a movie.

Just six seasons. We have to get six seasons. If Dan Harmon managed to make it happen with the shitshow that was Community, he has to be able to do it with the masterpiece that is Rick and Morty.

So bring on the wubba lubba dub dubs and schwiftys because Rick and Morty are on their way! Let's get riggity riggity wrecked!

If only we could just portal into November right now!
