RYAN Playground Impresses Us With Her First Music Video "Futile Devices"
RYAN Playground makes her music video debut with her cover of a Shigeto remix of Sufjan Steven's Futile Devices.Working with her entourage of creative minds a video was born and gave life to the RYAN Playground persona.
The track has a subtle energy to it that is mirrored by the colors and attitude of the video. The song also features a sample from Good Music's Mercy, from the album Cruel Summer.
The video boasts fashion pieces from local designer and friend, Travis Taddeo as well as internationally handpicked outfits from Kenzo, Prada, Comme des Garçons, Rad Hourani and more.
The mastermind behind RYAN Playground, Ryan Martel, has been making a name for herself in the industry. She is a self-taught producer and DJ who does it all and has been living and breathing music since she received her first drum set at age 5 and began composing music at age 11.
Since the launch of RYAN Playground, her music has been extremely well received by the local community. She has been keeping busy playing for different events like Festival Mode & Design, Festival MEG, Cult Magazine's one year anniversary and LNDMRK's one year anniversary. Ryan was also approached by Cult Magazine and eyewear brand All In Eyewear to create exclusively curated mix tapes.
