Canadians will soon be able to order same-day delivery of cannabis products from licensed retailers across the country.
The app Super from Boozer inc. will let you order cannabis products and get an UberEats-style delivery right to your doorstep the day you order it.
As someone who has ordered from Weed Maps more than once, this is music to my ears. Though, I can also see this being very dangerous for some potheads who already have a hard time getting off the couch...
The platform will allow Canadians to shop from multiple retailers to find the products they want.
The idea is a partnership between Boozer Inc. and Pineapple Express. The former is a same-day delivery service that already exists for alcohol delivery.
Pineapple Express has been offering same-day delivery of cannabis products to Canadians since October 2018. They currently operate in Ontario, Manitoba, and the Saskatchewan cities of Regina and Saskatoon.
Abiding by provincial regulations they provide delivery of adult-use recreational and medical deliveries.
Essentially, this is a match made in heaven, with Boozer having the platform already up and running and Pineapple Express being an expert in the weed delivery business.
Pineapple Express Delivery already averages 40,000 deliveries a month, so they are clearly the experts in weed delivery and I can't wait to see if and when they come to Quebec.
While we don't have a wide array of retailers like they do in Ontario, this would provide the opportunity for you to get your hands on a product that may be sold out at one SQDC but is still in stock at another location nearby.
