I was out walking the dog on Saturday morning when I saw something sitting on top of a fire hydrant. As I got closer, I found a little gnome with a note attached to it.
The note read:
Hi, I Am Gno-Me. Fellow travelers left me here to rest awhile and enjoy the view. Will you help me on my way by moving me along? Please place me somewhere new to rest until the next traveler happens by #57
And underneath it read:
May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. Until we meet again, may god hold you in the hollow of his hand. Please don't keep me, let me travel and bring a smile to someone else.
I knew I heard that before and then it clicked. That's pretty similar to the speech from the movie Blow. Turns out it's a pretty popular Irish blessing.
If you happen to find this one somewhere, let me know I'd love to know how far it gets.
