Transport Minister Robert Poëti tweeted an interesting photo this morning. A snowy owl soaring above Montreal traffic.
The image was captured on January 3rd by a traffic camera on Highway 40.
Apparently snowy owls like hanging out near highways because the setting is perfect for hunting small prey.
According to the Director of McGill's Bird Observatory the owls migrate towards Ontario and Montreal during the winter so keep your eyes open and you might be lucky enough to spot one.
