Starbucks' All-New "Mango Dragonfruit Refresher" Is Now Available In Canada

Starbucks is quite easily the epitome of deluxe coffee - and we all know it. It may not be the highest cafe up on your list, and I for one am always an advocate and supporter for the local little guys.

Still, when in doubt, Starbucks is an easy fail safe.

Naturally, because Starbucks is so popular with basically everyone, it's super exciting whenever they add something new for the season or even for their permanent menu. Today is one of those special days at Starbucks in Canada and the U.S.!

The major coffee house just unveiled their newest summer drink, and they are available today!.. and let me just say, this drink just screams summer.

Last year at Starbucks it was all about the unicorns - but this year, it's time for the dragons to take over!

The all-new Mango Dragonfruit Refresher from Starbucks is now available in Canada, and as its namesake suggests, it looks incredibly refreshing!

Here's the story on this new Starbucks gem! The new Mango Dragonfruit Refresher is made by hand-shaking pieces of real red-fleshed dragon fruit.

The pink/purple quencher is being touted by Starbucks as the quintessential summer beverage, and the best part is that it is entirely free of artificial colours and sweeteners!

One thing is for sure, people are going to absolutely love the colour of this new summer drink. Well done, Starbucks - once again you've delivered the Instagram-worthy drink of the year!

Known as one of nature's most unique plants, Dragon fruit (also known as Pitaya) comes from the cactus family. Dragon fruit is really good for the body and will help to replenish your body's vitamin supply during the hot, hot summers - which I am sure we will have a few heatwaves in Montreal this year. They've already begun!

Captin, a phytochemical typically used in medicines to help heart problems are also present in dragon fruit, too! Dragon fruit can also help to boost your immune system and promote a fast recovery from bruises and wounds, as well as reduce the risk of respiratory problems.

The new Mango Dragonfruit Refresher is the next in a long line-up of summer-ready drinks from Starbucks including all their new "pink" drinks like the Strawberry Acai Starbucks Refreshers, Strawberry Acai Lemonade Starbucks Refreshers, and more recently added to the menu. Check those out right here.

I think the new Starbucks Dragonfruit drinks are going to take-over this year!

For one, they have much less sugar which is important to keep yourself hydrated, and the added benefits of dragon fruit just make it that much more enticing.

I have a hunch that the Mango Dragonfruit Refresher will be my new morning hangover thirst quencher.

Go try one today!
