The new fall menu is available starting Thursday September 6th! If you're tired of your usual PSL, you can head over to your favourite Starbucks and pick up a tasty new drink or treat, inspired by the "food trend to watch this year"-cardamom.

Starbucks gave us a sneak peek of their "NEW, top-secret seasonal beverage" called the Cardamom Latte.

Via Starbucks

This latte contains cardamom spiced sugar, steam milk and espresso. It's less sweet and more "spicy" than the PSL, there are rich notes of nutmeg and cardamom, perfect for a fall day. You can have it hot, over ice, as a Frappuccino or with an extra shot of espresso (for those days when you need an extra kick).

Other items on their new fall menu:

Cold Foam Dark Cocoa Nitro

  • Crafted with bittersweet cold foam and cocoa, for all you beer lovers- this drink was influenced by dark stout. You can purchase this drink at Starbucks draft locations.

Classic Coffee Cake

  • An update on a classic! This delectable coffee cake has a new square shape, with a crunchy streusel topping and a blend of cinnamon sugar.

Maple Pecan Muffin

  • When you want to "treat yourself" grab one of these mouth-watering desserts. Perfect for the fall- with pecans and maple syrup-YUM!

The new items will be available only at Canadian Starbucks locations starting September 6th, 2018.

There are still a ton of things to do this Monday holiday!
  • Here's a short list of what's open and what's closed on Labour Day in Montreal.
  • If you're heading out, make sure to call ahead to your destination to inquire about reduced hours.

Yes, it's a long weekend! Three uninterrupted days to relax, have fun, and not think for two seconds about things like school or work, or other responsibilities until Tuesday morning. Not to be too depressing but it will be six weeks before we get another official long weekend.

But let's focus on the positive! This is usually one of the summer weekends that people are trying to pack in their last days of camping or chalet time. But if you're planning to stay in the city it's good to know what's open and what's closed so you can plan out your Labour Day weekend.
