According to a recently released report by Statistics Canada, Cannabis consumption has more than doubled among Canadians 15 and older over the past 30-years.
As the Canadian Liberal government moves ahead with legalizing marijuana consumption, equal efforts have been made to collect data and insights on cannabis use across the country.
This report is one of the first to zoom out on the pot use to get a sense of the long-term consumption trends. The government is attempting to understand past use as an effort to inform future trends following legalization.
