I turned to look and saw a cute little lady bug enjoying the sunshine.

Then I saw another, and another. I stepped out on the balcony and could see more crawling all over the side of my building, so I quickly went back inside and closed the door.

What the hell is going on!?

I went online to find out if I was the only one seeing this,  and it turns out I'm not alone.

Because of the unseasonably warm weather we've had this late in the fall, a species called the Asian Lady Beetle has been invading Quebec homes.

According to Global News, they’re harmless, but they do bite if disturbed. It is also not recommended you try to squish them because apparently the smell really bad.

Make sure to keep your windows closed for the next 2 days because temperatures will be reaching up to 25°C!
