9 Egg Products Have Been Recalled In Quebec Due To Possible Salmonella Contamination
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is alerting the public to an egg recall in Quebec by Les Å’ufs Richard Eggs Inc. due to a possible Salmonella contamination.Â
There have been "no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products," however.
"Consumers should not consume and distributors, retailers and food service establishments such as hotels, restaurants, cafeterias, hospitals, and nursing homes should not serve, sell, or use the recalled products," the CFIA says.

The agency says that recalled products should be thrown out or returned to their place of purchase.
It also warns that "food contaminated with Salmonella may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick."
"Short-term symptoms" of a Salmonella infection may include "fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal cramps and diarrhea."
