In honour of summer's arrival, Parc Jean-Drapeau is hosting a Free Open House Day on Friday, June 20th from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. There are lots of cool free and cheap activities to check out, and we've got them all listed here for you.
Beach
From 10 a.m. to 8p.m., you'll be able to enjoy free swimming at their beach. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.,there will be more fun beach activities like children's games, a trampoline, volleyball, animation, music, gifts, and Zumba lessons.
ILESONIQ DJ Beach Party
If dancing is your thing, you're in luck, because there's going to be a free electronic music show on the Beach from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Aquatic Complex
Don't worry if you're not into beach swimming, because they've also got an aquatic complex that you can check out for free from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. There will also be some fun water games if you're in the mood for competition.
Segway
Admit it--you've always wanted to take a spin on a Segway. Show up to the open house, and your dreams can become reality, because they've got a closed-off course near the Pavillion de la Tunisie.
Radio-Clasique
Radio fans will want to check this out. 99.5 CJPX is offering free studio tours and opportunities to meet their hosts from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Biosphere
Free admission to any of the exhibitions in Montreal's world-famous Biosphere.
Dragon-boat at the Olympic Basin
You'll have to get there early for this one, but H20Playground is offering a free introductory course for their Dragon-boat for the first 20 people that arrive. It takes place from 5:30-6:30 pm.
G1 Tour
There aren't many things in the world we love more than fast cars, and both a Lamborghini and a Ferrari will be on display right near the subway exit.
Wakeboarding
Wakeboarding lessons will be 50% off.
KSF Yoga and stand-up paddleboard fitness classes
