We already knewthere was a big storm headed our way, but at least that was only snow.
Now it looks as though we're also going to have to deal with a whole lot of ice too.

At about 4:00 am, environment Canada released a freezing rain alert.
Starting at midnight and continuing into Wednesday, we will see a prolonged period of freezing rain, and by the end of it all, we might get stuck with a 10 millimeter thick sheet of ice all over the city.
At least it'll prime igloo building weather.

So be prepared, because tomorrow we'll be seeing all the traditional Montreal chaos: Car crashes, buses getting stuck, and people slipping and injuring themselves. Last time this happened, the police actually started asking people to stop calling 911. So who knows what'll happen his time.
