Récréoparc's first-ever "Polar Rendez-Vous" kicked off last weekend, on January 16, drawing Quebecers in cozy winter 'fits for a whole host of fun outdoor activities.
Located in Sainte-Catherine, Quebec, the nature park currently boasts an illuminated snow slide and weekend DJ, as well as ice skating, snowshoe trails and more.

Récréoparc's DJ for the weekend, MistaDj Bones, did his thing spinning for visitors — even with gusts of flurries in his way.
Meanwhile, people took advantage of the 2.5-kilometre snowshoe trail and 10.4-kilometre cross-country ski trail.
Others enjoyed sledding, skating or strolling with members of their household bubble.
For those feeling the chill, the park includes a warm-up area with fire pits where folks can stay comfy.
After sunset (but before curfew), things got lit because there's literally an illuminated skating trail.
But we all know those magical lights work just as well for snapping cute Instagram photos #SnowmanSelfie.
Polar Rendez-Vous is on at RécréoParc from now until February 14. It's free to enter and equipment is available to rent for $5 to $7.
