Get your controllers ready and your thumbs primed people, because the largest LAN (local area network, in case you're not a gamer) party in all of Canada (and the largest on the East Coast) is making its return to Montreal.
Dubbed LAN ETS, as it's hosted/created by the École de technologie supérieure student club, the video game event is an all-out competition for those looking to claim dominance in their game of choice.
2000 BYOC (bring your own computer) will be available for any and all competitors, with tons or prizes and swag to win. Counter Strike, League of Legends, Super Smash (both Melee and Wii U), Call of Duty, and Street Fighter are among the games chosen for this year's competitive events, with other titles included.
Over 1000 spectator seats are also going to be open, for those who'd rather watch than play, along with a huge exhibition area to check out too. There's even going to be an orchestral performance by Montreal's L'orchestre de Jeux Video.
LAN ETS will be taking over Place Bonaventure on April 15th to April 17th. For more info and details, head over to the official Facebook event page.
