If you love music and live shows, or even if you just like free things, then you need to head over to the Olympic Park's Esplanade tomorrow, August 5, for what is sure to be an amazing night of beautiful symphonic orchestra performances. Starting at 7pm the park will be filled with the sights and sounds of the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal.

The show will open with a performance to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima, with 9 dancers from La Poesia Del Flamenco company dancing to the musical arrangements. Then, at 8pm "A Night At The Opera" will begin, with Bizet's Carmen, possibly the most popular opera of all time, being performed.

Okay, so, I'll be frank and apologize before we begin, because the Montreal SNES symphony presented by L'Orchestre de Jeux Vidéos (both shows, tonight + tomorrow) is actually sold out. I know, I know, I wanted to hear my favourite 8-bit tunes performed by an entire orchestra too, but sometimes the world is a cruel place. Don't get too down in the dumps though, because another concert of the same sort is coming up in Montreal.
