The PHI Centre released its second movie series in early January, allowing Montrealers to experience travelling the world as well as alternate universes — all from the comfort of their couches.

Its 2021 program, Imaginary Tales, is a series of fantastical and often experimental animated films produced by Atlas V.Â

Through the different programs, you can go on a wide variety of virtual adventures — from experiencing ayahuasca to climbing Mount Everest to wandering around China.

All equipment loans are currently delivered and picked up by the PHI Centre and disinfected with a sanitizing machine.

There are no plans to axe VR TO GO post-pandemic — the program has been extended to residents of Paris and Quebec City, said Achard.

When: Choose your dates online — you get to keep the headset for about 48 hours
Price: $45 for the OCULUS GO headset plus a $250 security depositÂ
Delivery: $22 delivery fee, with 50% of delivery charges deducted from your deposit if you are absent for a delivery attempt. A pick-up option may return at a later date.
