Tequila Lime "Timbits" Are The Guiltiest Pleasure Ever Created

Ah the donut hole, the only food in the world who's existence is a paradox. After all, a hole isn't a thing, it's the absence of a thing. So when you talk about a donut hole, you're talking about the part of the donut which doesn't exist. No wonder they've been renamed Munchkin or Timbit but popular donut shops. Anyway, this is one Timbit you won't be seeing at Tim Hortons anytime soon, unless of course they decide to make Tim Hortons 18+

Feast your livers at the glory of Tequila "Timbits" and since there's no way you'll find these in stores, we're going to teach you how to make them. Of course if you feel you're not responsible enough to know this recipe, turn away now because I don't want you blaming me when you become an overweight alcoholic donut addict. But if you feel you're up for it, here it is:

You'll need: 2 cup of tequila (1 for the recipe and one for you because cooking is hard) - one large egg - 2 cups of flour - 2 tbsp sugar - 4.5 teaspoons of baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon salt - 1/2 stick unsalted butter - a lot of oil  -  kosher salt - 1.5 cups of confectioners sugar - lime juice.

First make the glaze: Sift the sugar and stir in 3 tbsp of lime juice.

Now make the donuts: Boil a pot filled 2/3 of the way with oil. In a bowl, mix the tequila, melted butter, egg, flour, sugar and baking powder. Separate your dough into 24 equal portions and drop them in the oil one at a time until they're golden brown. Wait until they cool and coat them with your glaze. Sprinkle some kosher salt on top and you're ready to get sauced.
