The heat is getting pretty unbearable in Montreal. But it's not so much the heat (since we usually welcome it), it's the humidity that's making the weather unpleasant. In fact, there's a heat and humidity warning currently in effect in Montreal until Thursday. The warm humid air mass that's hovering over Quebec is bringing the humidex up to 40. This increases the risk of dehydration, and can cause health problems to young children, adults with medical conditions and the elderly.
Luckily our suffering is about to come to an end. Temperatures are expected to be back to normal by Friday and they will stay that way up until at least next week. That means we should have a beautiful weekend ahead of us with a much lower risk of rain then we've had in the past few days.
