I don't know if you guys are aware of this, but coffee is actually life. How does one function without at least a cup of the world's greatest drink a day? I don't know, and I don't want to find out.
I also know that I'm not alone in this one. How do I know? Well, just look around. Montreal is chalk full of amazing spots to grab coffee, and it's safe to say that our coffee culture is. On. Fleek.
But variety is the spice of life, and there's absolutely no such thing as too many great places to cop a cup of coffee. Which is exactly why I was very excited to learn about Shaughnessy Cafe (1455 Rue Lambert Closse).
If you recognize the location, that's because it's in the spot where the Moe's used to be (RIP Moe's). And it also happens to be literal steps away from Dawson College.
Described as an independent coffee shop with a laid-back atmosphere, Shaughnessy Cafe focuses on serving up direct trade coffee and baked goods, according to their website.
Plus, their location and good vibes atmosphere makes them a perfect place for students to get their study on, or grab a latte in between classes.
