The City Of Montreal Is Being Accused Of Stealing Famous Local Artist's Design

Three days ago the city of Montreal made a post announcing they will be participating in Canada's Smart City Challenge. 

They posted a link to a website called RealisonsMTL along with a photo that looked oddly familiar.

This was the post and photo in question:

Does that image look familiar? 

That's because it's pretty much a ripoff of a famous design created by Made in Montreal artist Chris Soueidan, AKA Loogart.

As you can see some aspects of the design aren't just similar, they are identical!

Loogart has launched a petition demanding compensation and the removal of the stolen image, and you can help by showing your support right here!
