I for one, am very excited at the thought of finally having a proper night's sleep.  No AC during this heatwave of summer has been extremely challenging.

But enough about me, I'm here to tell you about an awesome fall activity you need to put on top of your summer bucket list ASAP.

Why? Because this maze is one of the largest in the area. 12 acres to be precise.

Not only do they boast a huge corn maze, but there is also "Play Area" with all sorts of games and Livestock Barn where you can pet the farm animals! So cute.

Hathaway Farm is a third-generation family run farm located in Rutland Vermont, which is about a 3-hour drive from Montreal. A cozy fall weekend in Vermont sounds pretty magical to me.

Here are some amazing shots of the corn maze so you can get a little taste of what to expect.

Here's What's Open & What's Closed On Labour Day In Montreal

There are still a ton of things to do this Monday holiday!
  • Here's a short list of what's open and what's closed on Labour Day in Montreal.
  • If you're heading out, make sure to call ahead to your destination to inquire about reduced hours.

Yes, it's a long weekend! Three uninterrupted days to relax, have fun, and not think for two seconds about things like school or work, or other responsibilities until Tuesday morning. Not to be too depressing but it will be six weeks before we get another official long weekend.

But let's focus on the positive! This is usually one of the summer weekends that people are trying to pack in their last days of camping or chalet time. But if you're planning to stay in the city it's good to know what's open and what's closed so you can plan out your Labour Day weekend.
