I think at this stage in the game it's pretty safe to say that almost every single Montrealer loves the Habs.
Seriously, think about it: when the Habs are good, they're REALLY good. And the city REALLY celebrates. When the Habs are off... well, it's basically a disaster. And Montrealers are very passionate about calling out the Habs for dropping the ball (or... puck?).
But no matter what, it's obvious that we Montrealers love our resident hockey team. They inspire a passion in this city that no other sports team can. Even if sometimes we're a little disappointed, it doesn't matter. We know, deep down, that the Montreal Canadiens will pull through in the end.

The Montreal Canadiens will be playing the Vegas Golden Knights this February 17, 2018. And the game? Yeah, the game will be played at the T-Mobile Arena in (wait for it) Las Vegas. AKA, the most fun city in the entire world. (No exaggeration).
Honestly, a trip to Vegas to see our beloved Habs play live is pretty much any Canadiens fan's dream come true; and with tickets for the game starting at $75 USD, it's also a super inexpensive dream to realize.

The Park is a huge area filled with bars, restaurants and other super fun things to do and see. It also happens to be just outside of the T-Mobile Arena, where the Habs will play the Golden Knights on February 17.

The statue is stunning and situated right at the centre of The Park, so you can even see this beauty on your way to catch the big game!
Grab a bite or two (or three) at everyone's NYC bucketlist food joint: Shake Shack
Two words: Shake Shack. This New York based burger and fry spot is basically every foodie's dream come true, mainly because of their drool-worthy burgers and Insta-famous crinkly fries.
Biting into a juicy Shake Shack burger is nothing short of divine; and thankfully, they've got one in Las Vegas, right in the New York-New York Hotel and near the T-Mobile Arena.
So before you witness pure magic on ice (AKA, our Habs owning it against the Golden Knights), you'll be able to eat pure magic in a bun. Or in fry-form. Yum.

Not only is this space ginormous enough to fit ALL the Habs fans (seriously, it seats 20,000 people!), but the Arena also has TWO lounges and seven different places to nosh on some seriously delicious food. Two to watch out for? Tail And Fin, which dishes up tasty and sumptuous sushi burritos, and Rollin Smoke Barbecue, a barbecue house serving authentic, slow-cooked dishes!

Come on. You know what Coyote Ugly is. I know what Coyote Ugly is. I think it's pretty safe to say that basically everyone knows exactly what Coyote Ugly is: a good time!
This famous bar/saloon is a fantastic place to go to at any point during your trip. This bar at the New York-New York Hotel serves up good drinks, good food and good times - so while you can go there basically any time, you might want to head there right after the Habs win big on February 17.
Plus Coyote Ugly also offers line-dancing lessons on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. So, you know. Do with that information what you will!
Stop off at Caesars Palace, and check out the beyond beautiful fountain
Honestly, Caesars Palace is basically like a mini trip to Greco-Roman times. You totally need to stop by this hotel, located in the heart of the Vegas Strip, at least once during your visit to Vegas - no matter how long you stay for.
The hotel itself has beautiful architecture, with Corinthian pillars and statues everywhere, plus beautiful fountains - and one that basically looks like a replica of Rome's Trevi Fountain.
Caesars Palace is also home to the Colosseum, which hosts huge headliner performances like Celine Dion and Elton John. So right after watching the Habs win, stop by Ceasars Palace, see some sights, grab a show, and have an awesome time!
