Little known fact about me: I'm actually obsessed with Harry Potter.
When I was a kid, I could probably recite the entire script of the first Harry Potter film.
I waited patiently (impatiently) for the last Harry Potter book to come out. I knew all there was to know about the series. I even bought a whole bunch of swag to totally trick out my room. I was obsessed AF.
Which was why, when I found out about this Harry Potter-themed event, I think I literally screamed in nostalgia/happiness for a solid five minutes.
On April 8 and 9, Montreal's Place Des Arts will be hosting a live orchestra Harry Potter concert at the Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier.
The concert will feature a live 84-piece symphony orchestra performance performing live, note for note, to Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
And yes, the movie actually will be projected on the big screen in English, with French subtitles.
Tickets start at $49.50, and the show starts at 8:00 PM.
So, fans of Harry Potter, rejoice. You're about to get one seriously cool, musical immersive experience.
