There can be a lot of pressure when it comes to Valentines Day presents. What’s personal, but also not expensive? What’s classic, but not cliché? Obviously, in the end all that counts is the thought behind the gift, not the gift itself. But, I mean it is nice when the gift is actually something you like… otherwise what a waste, right? Being of the female persuasion, I have listed some Valentines Day gifts that I personally would enjoy. Contrary to popular belief, women are not all the same, so don’t go pointing fingers if these presents don’t work out. This is just an inspiration point!

1. Bacon Bouquet

I am not the kind of person who is fervently opposed to flowers and chocolate on Valentines Day. However I’d be so excited if my S.O. made me this beautiful bouquet of meat candy. Bacon tops roses, no question.

2. Lush True Romance Set

Lush, otherwise known as the best smelling place on earth, is a good option for any occasion. Valentines Day in particularly, because buying someone bath products is a non-crude way of saying “Hey do you wanna get wet and naked with me?” For someone who has never been to Lush, the whole experience can be overwhelming, what with all the scents and people offering you hand massages. Fortunately for you, Lush pre-packages gift sets. The True Romance set looks straight ballin’. See for yourself!

3. Box of Money

Money is a weird present to give. Gifting money can seem impersonal and to some, offensive. The only people who can really pull it off are family members. However if your partner is broke and says all they want is cash, then give it to them. But in a cute way. This “Box of Money” idea is pretty flipping cute rendition on a box of chocolates!

4. Lip Print Mug

Like a lot of people I know, I am an avid coffee/tea drinker. So I go through mugs like a mofo. Sometimes I run out so fast I end up drinking dark roast out of a water bottle. This lip print mug is thoughtful, practical and not to mention so gorgeous!

5. Yankee Candle

Yankee Candles are stupidly good. If you've never smelt one, I believe you are doing a great injustice to your nose. There are so many scents, it would be impossible to list them all. Though I have to say, their rendition on the Danish Butter Cookie is divine.

6. Raw Jewelry

Jewelry is pretty standard for Valentines Day. When it comes to buying something blingy, you have to be careful not to go down the tacky or cliché route. Raw Jewelry on Etsy is perfect. Their pieces are exposed raw gems coupled with fashionable chains and rings. They come out unique without being gaudy and reasonably priced to boot.

7. Rosmarria Kimono

I’ve always thought a robe was a nice alternative to lingerie on Valentines Day. I you’ve ever put on a kimono, you know the flowing material and billowing sleeves make you look and feel like a sex goddess. I’ve scrounged La Vie En Rose and Victoria’s Secrets websites and found a lot of cool kimonos. However with my unreasonably expensive taste, I had to share this gem from Net a Porter. It’s just so pretty.

8. Spa In A Jar

A cute DIY gift that caught my eye on one of my late night Pintrest binges, was the “Spa In A Jar.” Basically all your S.O. has to do is pack up a mason jar with typical spa products you can get at any local Drug Store. Facemasks, nail polish, all that jazz. Taking the time to hand pick products they think you would like is a really sweet gesture.

9. Pop Tart Phone Case

I’ll admit, I’m a sucker for a cute phone case. If you just want to get your boo a little something special, I’d say this is your best bet. Out of all the phone cases you could order, this Pop Tart themed one takes the cake (or should I say the toaster strudel?)

10. Epic Blend Super Pack

Buying make-up for someone else is generally not a good idea in any circumstance. Especially if you don’t know what you’re looking for. A good alternative is lip balm, because who doesn’t like lip balm right? Epic Blend is my favourite company to soothe your chapped lip blues. They’re Canadian, vegan and I shit you not, have the best tasting and smelling balms on the market right now. My personal favourite is the Wild Berry. Their super pack contains 10 lip balms, and it's only $30, so order up while you still can!

11. A Mix Tape

We're taking it back to 1992 this V-Day! But seriously, this present is a lot cuter than making someone an online playlist. To have something tangible is special (as cheesy as that sounds)

12. Bonus: A Cute Animal!

Just wanted to sneak this in here. If you have the means and the reason to get your S.O. a ball of fluff and love, do it please. It is probably one of the greatest gifts you can give someone, because it loves you right back.
