The Insane Waterfall 3 Hours Away From Montreal That’s Totally Worth Roadtripping To This Summer

Now that it's summer, it's time to explore some of the beautiful places our province has to offer. If you and your friends have been searching for an amazing place to spend some quality time in nature, I've found the perfect place for you!

Located only a 3 hour drive from Montreal, Jean Larose Falls is a magical destination. It's nestled in at the foot of Mont-Sainte-Anne, a popular skiing location during the winter. You probably didn't know there was so much to see during the summer months as well!

There's so many fun things to do at these falls. The water is deep enough for cliff jumping or, if you aren't feeling that adventurous, bring a bathing suit and take a dip in the cool, blue water.

This magical place has 3 beautiful water falls at different heights. The highest one, perfect for cliff jumping is 41 meters high, then a medium height of 19 meters and a small height of 12 meters.

If you're into hiking, the falls are the starting point for a 12 km hike along the Mestachibo Trail which leads to the Saint Ferreol-les-Neiges church. This hike includes 2 cross-hanging bridges and breathtaking views!
