The Sky Lake is located in Sargent's Purchase of New Hampshire which is nestled between Mount Washington and Mount Monroe. It happens to be 5,032 feet above sea level and there are multiple lakes that are known as Lakes of the Clouds.

You can access these lakes via hiking and there is actually a place called the Lakes of the Clouds Hut which is the largest and most popular lodge operated by The Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC). So, after a long hike and a nice dip in the lake you can relax and sleep like a god!

The fastest hike is 3.1 miles which is a 3-hour hike via the Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail, which leaves from Base Station Road in Jefferson. The views are stunning and the sky lake is beautiful.
