The Internet Is Completely Disgusted By Woman Caught Illegally Licking Ice Cream At Walmart

Some pranks can go very, very wrong. Some pranks are also terribly stupid. And some pranks happen to strike the perfect balance between wrong and stupid. This is one of those times.
(Cue the Law & Order 'dun-dun').
A viral video has been making the internet rounds of a woman licking a tub of ice cream in a Wal-Mart grocery store and then putting the tub back into the freezer. The video has already been viewed more than 10 million times.
Immediately, the investigation into who the nefarious ice-cream licker was on; the ice cream manufacturer was informed, police were called, detectives were on the case.
What kinda psychopathic behavior is this?! https://t.co/T8AIdGpmuS— Optimus Primal (@Optimus Primal) 1561813341.0
Thankfully we can all rest easy now that Texas police have identified the woman.
You know something has gone viral when even Ice T has something to say about it:
Why are MFs licking Ice cream and putting it back on the shelf?? Social media has driven people crazy for attention... smh— ICE T (@ICE T) 1562197729.0
But the story doesn't end there. Police are now saying the woman could face a second-degree felony charge of 'tampering with consumer products' that comes with a sentence of 2-20 years in prison. 20 years!
Imagine going to jail and other inmates are asking what you’re in for, and you gotta say for licking ice cream https://t.co/E4LXvkmxF9— Pookie Tang ✨ (@Pookie Tang ✨) 1562305526.0
Oh, and the cherry on top is she also faces fines up to $14,239. All of this seems a tad excessive to me.

Here's a video of me taking ice cream and putting it in my cart and not licking it https://t.co/t5sq9al0DN— Kevin Fischer (@Kevin Fischer) 1562270485.0
I had to turn to Twitter to see exactly how I felt. Was I outraged, shocked or maybe just amused at the intensity of reactions?
nobody: everyone when they go to the store after seeing the girl licking the ice cream: https://t.co/hYfaXF3dkO— roberto🌿BLM✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿 (@roberto🌿BLM✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿) 1562213875.0
If I see another video of someone licking ice cream and putting it back ima- https://t.co/TzSk3hUCFt— 𝔏𝔞𝔲𝔯𝔢𝔫.🦋 (@𝔏𝔞𝔲𝔯𝔢𝔫.🦋) 1562219854.0
It looks like it's mostly disgust, and we would tend to agree.
the fact that licking ice cream & putting it back became a trend is DISGUSTING. https://t.co/KC6vZVnBpZ— ari (@ari) 1562206857.0
There were also quite a few tweets comparing the ice cream licker to Ariana Grande's donut licking episode a few years back.
Ariana is always ahead of her time. everyone’s going around licking unsold ice cream but Ariana did that 4 years ago with the donut.— R (fan account) (@R (fan account)) 1562210439.0
That Ariana has always been a trendsetter.
There was also a lot of people who were more perplexed than anything else.
@dynastyycolee Girl licks ice cream and gets charged faster than a cop who committed murder lol. https://t.co/N3NAbCSLrZ— Ryn 🦂 (@Ryn 🦂) 1562120917.0
If there's anything we can take away from this criminal case, is just to remember that if you do the crime, you have to do the time.
