If you're looking for something to watch these days, you know Netflix always has something new coming out. Recently, they released a new movie called "Always Be My Maybe," written and starring Ali Wong and Randall Park.
You may know Ali Wong from her Netflix stand-up specials like "Baby Cobra," and Randall Park has had a longstanding comedy career in both film and television, making cameos in shows like The Office and The Mindy Project.
The duo first teamed up to create the sitcom Fresh Off The Boat and now they're back with an all-new movie that is truly hilarious... and features Keanu Reeves in a scene that everyone can't stop talking about.
The film follows two childhood friends who grow up together, briefly have a fling and then drift apart. They liv the beginning of their adult lives separately until they're reunited back in the San Franciso Bay Area where they grew up.
In the film, Keanu Reeves has a cameo part as Ali Wong's date when the two main characters reunite for a double date.
Keanu Reeves’ entrance in ‘Always Be My Maybe’ is my new, forever mood ⚡️ @netflix https://t.co/IEGAxPfVxg— Claire Joachim (@Claire Joachim) 1559307650.0

It all starts with his epic entrance into the restaurant, which all plays into Keanu as this "dream guy." Keanu plays himself in the film, too, which just adds to the hilarity.
The idea of having Keanu in the film was, at first, just a "pipe dream," for the writers as they assumed they'd never be able to get him on board for the film, let alone have his schedule be available.

They tried to imagine the film several other actors in Reeves' place, but in the end, when he heard about the film, he apparently said he would be "honoured" to be a part of the love story Wong and Park had created, Vulture shares.
Park even wrote a rap called "I Punched Keanu Reeves," that he shared with Reeves before the recording and according to an interview with Pitchfork, Reeves even provided suggestions for the song.
If Keanu Reeves doesn’t win the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for Always Be My Maybe, why do we even hand out awards for acting?— Stephen Amell (@Stephen Amell) 1559630031.0
I'm making a thread of Keanu Reeves in Always Be My Maybe because I was losing my MIND https://t.co/spg8HcmMOr— Kathleen (@Kathleen) 1559341264.0
If this doesn't prove that Keanu Reeves is the most chill, down-to-earth and hilarious dude, I don't know what does. Not only is he willing to be the butt of a joke, but he also mastered the improvisation of the scene and provided a hilarious scene in an already amazing comedy film.
If you haven't yet watched Always Be My Maybe on Netflix, you can do so right here.
