The Longest Oyster Bar In Canada Is Coming To Montreal

I'm a big fan of oysters. Considering the price of these little sea treats, a night out eating oysters is a real treat.

That said, I'm always on the lookout for awesome $1 oyster deals and I've written about a couple in this story here.  I've also found some places in Montreal that do really unique dessert oysters.

But, today, I'm glad to announce that I found out about an oyster sampling unlike any other I've seen in Montreal before.

In honor of the International Jazz Festival of Montreal the catering service company, Olive Orange will be setting up an extravagant and massive oyster bar in the middle of the festival action at Places Des Arts. And when I say massive, I mean massive. No lie.

Seafood-fans will be able to sample and indulge in over 1600 oysters during the festivities. But it doesn't stop at oysters. There will be other "surf and turf" dishes available to try and lobster rolls as well.

So - if you're hitting up the Quartier Des Spectacles for Jazz Fest, don't forget to stop by St-Urbain street at the corner of Maissoneuve for an amazing oyster feast!
