The Montreal Planetarium Will Be Free For A Day In August

On August 21 in Montreal, we will be witnessing a very rare astronomical event!
Between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm there will be a partial solar eclipse and Montreal will be plunged into darkness in the middle of the day.

And if you want to know the best place to watch the Eclipse, look no further than Montreal's Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium. you're invited to join astronomers to observe the eclipse and you'll even be provided with free eclipse observation goggles.
As a special treat on that day, you can attend a special program at the Planetarium for free!
