The Montreal Protest You Should 100% Attend If You Want To Save The Pit Bulls

If you really love them show up.

There have been a couple of super sad stories in the news lately surrounding pit bulls, and even talks of Montreal potentially banning the breed. It goes without saying that the topic is super sensitive to a lot of people, no matter what side of the fence you're on.

If you happen to be on the side that supports pit bulls, then you'll be very happy to know that you can actually, actively do something to show your support against Breed Specific Legislation (AKA, laws singling out specific dog breeds, like pit bulls).

On July 16, there will be a worldwide protest against Breed Specific Legislation. In Montreal, it's taking place at 11:00 AM, beginning at Pelican Park and ending at Lafontaine Park.

The protest is peaceful, and dog owners can go ahead and bring their pups - granted they're leashed, social, and fit a couple of other criteria. Also, don't forget to bring water for your dogs if they're coming.

If this sounds like something you'd be down to attend, check out the Facebook event for more information.
