The Montreal Ritz-Carlton Residences On Sherbrooke Street You Did Not Know Existed

When "ritz" is in the name, you can only expect the rooms of this famous Montreal hotel to be ritzy as hell. Renowned as the lodging place of the world's elite who visit the city, Montreal's Ritz-Carlton also has permanent residences where you can live all year round, if you can afford it, that is.

Only 45 families can live inside the Ritz-Carlton at any given time, what the RC calls a "privilege." With a fitness centre, 24hrs hotel trained concierge, private doorman, a rooftop pool, room service, and an in-house bar and restaurant, we're inclined to agree.

Built in 1912, the Ritz-Carlton didn't always have residences. Today, the hotel gained a brain new glass section and two more floors that include condos at 1200 square feet all the way up to 7000 square feet, for the ballers getting penthouses. Starting prices are at $1.5 million, meaning only a privileged few can afford to live there, but oh can we dream
