Walk Walk Danceis a "brand new project imagined for the cities of the world hoping to quickly revive public spaces after the vacuum created by the pandemic," according to a press release. You can walk, jump, roll, or dance on carpet to trigger beautiful music.
"The pandemic and lockdown isolated people inside their homes, cities and public spaces were deserted, sad and lifeless. We wanted to create an opportunity to meet each other and reclaim our cities, no matter where we live, " said Mouna Andraos, co-founder of Daily tous les jours.
Walk Walk Dance premiered in Toronto in June 2021.
"The purpose of this project is to surprise people by creating spontaneous moments of joy, safely, " added Melissa Mongiat, co-founder of Daily tous les jours.
The installation will be in Quartier des Spectacles until September 6, 2021.

This year's edition is showing eight different pieces, which will look at "a dizzying dive into entropic chaos, [...] a visual study of the concept of space-time, [...] a poetic experience of our temporality, [...] a ramble between memories, imagination and dreams," and more.
The entire show lasts a total of 45 minutes and the festival goes from April 27 to June 19, 2021.
It will take place in the SAT's "Satosphère" room, where you'll get a 360 view of the films and feel entirely immersed in them. A face covering or mask must be worn at all times.

Ah, Expo 67. In my opinion, this event - which went down in the city exactly 50 years ago, BTW - was pretty much a shining star in the history of Montreal, and in Canada as a whole, if we're being honest.
Why? Well, think about it. Many of the things built for and featured in Expo 67 are still huge parts of our lives in Montreal to this day. The Biosphere? La Ronde? Habitat 67? Parc Jean-Drapeau? All thanks to Expo 67. (Sidenote: I guess that also means Osheaga and Ile Soniq are all thanks to Expo 67, too!)
And even though a lot of us weren't even alive when this event went down, we all still kind of know about it. I mean, for good reason: Expo 67 was seriously cool. It had it all. Live music (The Supremes played live, guys), an amusement park (looking at you, La Ronde), entertainment, celebrities, IMAX films, expositions, and a whole lot more!
Just like those of us who weren't there for sure want to experience the awesomeness of Expo 67 for the first time, those of us who were there highkey wish to relive every single moment of this epic event.
Featuring giant, immersive screens that'll take you back fifty years to vibe and atmosphere of Montreal's Expo 67, this event relives the best moments of the event - in a way that can only happen in 2017.
For example, you can take a minute walk through Expo 67, listen to the music of the '60s, and check out the USSR Pavillion, the Monorail, the American Pavillion, Habitat 67 and more, all without ever having to leave Place Des Arts thanks to Karine Lanoie-Brien and her team.

Chances are, friends, it's all of the above. One thing you probably don't think of, though, is a huge open-air outdoor after party going down in the centre of all the action, by the name of Melting Pot.
Going down on July 15 - 30 at Place Des Arts (175 Saint-Catherine St), this totally free event is the official afterparty of Just For Laughs. Basically, Melting Pot is going to be turning Place Des Arts into a huge open-air nightclub, transforming the area into a haven for anyone and everyone who loves to have fun!
This must-attend event will of course include an on-site bar with cocktails and beers, as well as food from a handful of Montreal's best restaurateurs.
Other than some awesome food, drinks, and vibes, though, you can also expect unique themed events every night (like their 90s Vibes Soiree going down on), and iconic, special musical guests, like Grandmaster Flash and Fatman Scoop.
