1.ย Maniacย
Big stars Jonah Hill and Emma Stone star in this Netflix miniseries about two strangers who are drawn to a mysterious pharmaceutical trial that will supposedly fix all their issues. Things obviously do not go as planned.
2.ย The Land Of Steady Habits
A classic coming-of-age-story but the main character is 50 instead of 15. This touching drama/comedy follows a middle-aged guy who quits his life; retiring from his finance job and leaving his wife, hoping that the grass will be actually greener on the other side.
3.ย Iron Fist: Season 2
This is for all those Marvel fans out there. Iron First Season 2 is, as expected, packed with action and incredible fight scenes, as the main superhero is bestowed with incredible martial arts skills and "the iron fist."
4.ย Sierra Burgess Is A Loser
Starring newcomer and Netflix heartthrob Noah Centineo, this Netflix produced teen comedy is about an unexpected romance that forms when the most popular girl in high school and the biggest loser must come together to win over their crushes.
5.ย Chefโs Table: Volume 5
You either love cooking shows, or you don't. Chef's Table, though, is loved by all because it's not your typical cooking show; it's an inspiring bio-documentary series about remarkable innovators around the world that have put their sweat and tears into working their way to the top.
6.ย The Good Place: Season 2
After the huge success of Season 1, fans are impatiently waiting for the second season of NBC's The Good Place. Kristen Bell is back as Eleanor Shellstrop trying to figure out what it means to be "good."
7.ย American Vandal: Season 2
American Vandal is back with Season 2 set to premiere on Netflix in September. This time around it's set in a private Catholic high school that's just been hit by another unexpected juvenile crime: the cafeteria lemonade was spiked resulting in the entire student body being hit with instantaneous, violent diarrhea. In true mockumentary fashion; season 2 is all about number 2.
8.ย BoJack Horseman: Season 5
Bojack, the classic anti-hero protagonist, is back for his 5th season! As a washed-up former 90s sitcom star navigating the vacuous Hollywood scene, this show is more than a story about a talking horse, it's also a philosophical critique on how humans struggle to find meaning โ or lack of โ in their lives. For those who can appreciate dark and existential humor and poop jokes.
9. This Is Us: Season 2
This heartstring-plucking Netflix original series follows the trials and tribulations of a family navigating the ups and downs of life. Sometimes it's a drama that will make you cry; sometimes it's an uplifting story that will make you laugh, this TV series is all around winner with universal themes that will touch everyone.
