People Can't Bear The Sight Of The "Nightmarish" Animation In The New Sonic The Hedgehog Movie Trailer

A trailer for the new, live-action Sonic the Hedgehog movie was released today and people are losing their minds over the animation.
The movie is based on a video game of the same name, but you don't need to have played the video game to know what the furry blue creature looks like. The new movie, however, is a departure from his traditional representation.
The devilmay work hard, but memers on the internet work harder. There are already a ton of memes about the big, blue "abomination" on Twitter, and they are HILARIOUS.
I've compiled a few below for your amusement.

Some of the photos of the animated Sonic have been flagged for "sensitive material." You can't make this stuff up.
Sonic has been perverted for and by many, so maybe this was a preventative move on the part of the producers:

Most of the adverse reactions come from somewhere rooted deep in our psyche: likely from the uncanny valley effect. Sonic is almost too humanlike, and our brain doesn't react well to that.
Some people are trying to "fix" the animated character:

If anything, I'm probably more likely to watch the movie now that I've seen these reactions. Maybe that's what producers wanted all along.
I may go watch it for all the wrong reasons, but I'll watch it anyways.
