When you think of fall, I'm sure you think of the changing of the leaves, the infamous Pumpkin Spice Latte, apple picking, plaid, and, of course, Halloween.

Montreal residents take Halloween especially seriously. Already the unofficial festival and club capital of North America, the entire city becomes one huge celebration on the spookiest night of the year.

You can go the cute route when it comes to Halloween – carving pumpkins, having a fun Halloween party with your friends, or watching playful movies like Casper or Hocus Pocus.

But isn't Halloween all about the scares – the ghouls, gremlins, witches, and things that go bump in the night?

Personally, I love all the scares that come with Halloween, the horror movies, scary costumes, haunted houses and all the terrifying events – anything that can boost my heart rate, I'm there!

If you're like me and are looking to attend something truly frightful, you have to check out the zombie apocalypse run, happening October 4th.

The run is taking place just outside of Montreal, in Drummondville, only 1 hour 20 minutes outside of the city.

Grab your bravest friends and face some spine-chilling zombies as you run through a 5 kilometre course while battling other obstacles.

You'll have 3 lives (three strips on a belt) which the zombies will try and steal. Your mission? To stay alive through to the end of the course!
