The Top 10 Sexiest Montreal Canadiens Players

Montreal, we are one lucky city. Not only because we have a fantastic hockey team, fans, and all around incredible hockey atmosphere, our players are also total HUNKS. This is not just because they're physically good-looking, but also due to the fact that they bring so much personality and energy every single time they play. Have you ever wondered what they're like off the ice? Well, I did, and here's what I came up with. Hope you're AC is on the highest temperature, cuz it's about to get HOT!
1. PK Subban
PK Subban's on and off ice enthusiasm is contagious, for fans and teammates alike. PK is known for his signature warm-up during the National anthem of running in place (you can't miss him, he's the only one moving non-stop!) and he is the last to leave the ice, playfully recognizing each and every player's hard work. PK is accompanied in the NHL by his brothers Malcom and Jordan, who play for opposing teams (Bruins and Canucks). PK's favorite restaurant is Park, notably posting on Instagram every time he feasts there. Subban was also the winner of the prestigious Norris Trophy in 2013, making him a force to be reckoned with. PK is very involved with local charities in his hometown of Toronto. Oh, he's also worth a solid $ 72 million! Ask any die hard fan- he's worth every penny!
2. Brandon Prust
Resident bad boy, Brandon Prust is what we in the hockey community call a modern day "goon". While this term may seem to have a negative denotation, when it comes to Prust, he has his teammates back and is ready to knock down (or out) anyone who gets in their way. He's a pretty small guy compared to other aggressors in the NHL, and was actually ranked the #1 lightweight in the league, but he truly holds his own when the gloves come off! When he is not playing hockey, Prusty can be found playing baseball, or on the golf course. His significant other of over two years is Montreal native Maripier Morin, a local TV host, and featured on the show Hockey Wives. He also really loves poutine!!

3. Carey Price
Where to even begin with this guy. Carey Price has always been a top-tier goalie, but in the last two seasons his talent has been recognized by hockey fans, fellow players and officials of the sport. Recently, Price broke the record for wins for a Canadiens goalie, at 44 victories in one season! Carey was born in British Columbia, and likes to pay tribute to his western roots by rocking a cowboy hat. The apple didn't fall far from the tree, as Carey's father was also a professional goaltender. Carey and his wife, Angela Webber, call Kelowna, B.C. home during the off- season. Fun fact about this flawless couple: they were set up on a blind date by Angela's friend, who at the time, was dating Carey's roommate. Price is in the running to win not only the Vezina (best goalie) Trophy, but the Hart (Best Player) Trophy as well! So keep you're fingers crossed people!!
4. Max Pacioretty
The steamy Max, short for Maxamilian, was born in Connecticut, but has some Montreal blood in him, as his paternal grandmother was French Canadian! Patches is married to Katia Afinogenov, the sister of former NHL athlete Maxim Afinogenov. The pair have a beautiful baby boy named Lorenzo who was born in 2013. Pacioretty is best known for bouncing back from a terrible hit from the Bruins' Zdeno Chara that almost paralyzed him. He took the high road by publically forgiving Chara for his actions on the ice. This experience inspired Max to start his own charity called The Pacioretty Foundation, raising money to aid in the advancement of brain research. He also has his own burger at McDonald's called the Max 67, and word on the street is that it's mouth-wateringly delicious!
5. Lars Eller
Danish native Lars Eller has been a Canadiens staple since being traded from the St. Louis Blues back in 2010. He and his gorgeous (and I mean GORGEOUS) wife Julie have a daughter Sophia. Eller had originally dreamed of becoming an NHL goalie. He especially admired Patrick Roy and Saku Koivu. In 2013, he gave his family and fans quite the scare when knocked unconscious by Senators' Eric Gryba. Nevertheless, he came back in true Canadiens fashion, signing a 4 year contract with the team. He also owns a beautiful and spacious 2700 foot condo in Nuns Island, where he spends his downtime with his wife and daughter.
6. Tomas Plekanec
This veteran athlete is one of those players who proves that age is just a number in the NHL. At the age of 32, he is having one of his best seasons. Plekanec was born and raised in Kladno, Czech Republic, and is married to Czech singer Lucie Vondrackova. The couple also have a 4 year old son named Matyas. They tend to keep their private life under wraps, but have no problem publicizing pictures of their beautiful family. In 2010, he signed a 6 year contract with the Canadiens, a total of $30 million. As the fifth year is coming to a close, it will be interesting to see whether or not he signs again with the Habs!
7. Alex Galchenyuk
Alex Galchenyuk is one of the youngest players on the team, but his experience completely overshadows his youth . Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he has spent most of his life living and breathing hockey. His father, Alexander Galchenyuk, was a professional hockey player as well. At the age of four, Galchenyuk and his family moved to Europe to stay close to his father while he played for Germany and Italy and Russia . He ended up back in North America at the age of 15, moving to Chicago and then Sarnia, Ontario. This strategic player is trilingual, speaking English, Italian and Russian. He is rumoured to be dating all-star tennis player Eugenie Bouchard, but neither athlete has confirmed this to be true.

8. Brendan Gallagher
When it comes to driving opposing teams a little crazy, Gally is our guy. He is known for getting up in other players' faces, and is a true hustler when it comes to getting the puck in the net. Gallagher was born in Edmonton and moved to British Columbia at the age of 12. His father was a conditioning coach for the Vancouver Giants. Due to his father's involvement with the team, Gallagher familiarized himself with the teams strategy before joining the team. Like Pacioretty, Gallagher had his own McDonald's burger in 2014. That same year, Gallagher, along with former teammate Brian Gionta, partnered with the clothing brand True Rivalry and helped design T-shirts to raise money for the charity of their choice. Gallagher chose Sports Jeunesse, an organization that helps children whose families can't afford to have their child play sports.
9. Manny Malhotra
Malhotra, an Ontario native, is an NHL journeyman that has played for the Carolina Hurricanes, New York Rangers, and Vancouver Canucks, just to name a few. He has some seriously brilliant genes, as both his parents have doctorate degrees; his father in polymer chemistry and his mother in biochemistry. Malhotra is bilingual, speaking both English and French due to his mother's French Canadian upbringing. In 2007, Malhotra married Joann Nash, who happens to be the sister of NBA star Steve Nash. They have two adorable boys named Caleb and Isiaiah.
10. Torrey Mitchell
Newcomer to the Habs, Torrey Mitchell grew up in a little place called Greenfield Park, Longeuil. He attended Selwyn House for high school here in Montreal, and received his degree from the University of Vermont. His parents have been outspoken about how happy they are with his decision to attend this University, as it led him to be selected by the San Jose Sharks in the 2004 NHL draft. After some time playing for the Sharks, Minnesota Wild and Buffalo Sabres, Mitchell has returned home to play for the Canadiens.
