Like, yes, I know it's not cool to have my friends wait five/ten minutes before eating so I can get the perfect Insta shot of all our food. I know I'm a terrible person, but let me like what I like!
Anyway, rant aside, I've been into Instagram for a little while now, and I've kind of built up an intinerary of most of the coolest spots to Instagram in Montreal. And if you're wondering what exactly that is... well, wonder no more. I got your back.
Terrasse Nelligan
A beautiful and fun rooftop terrasse overlooking a gorgeous view of the city? Yeah. Whip out those phones get ready to ignore that Storage Almost Full notification, guys; you'll be taking tons of perfect shots for IG.
The Botanical Gardens
Tulips, cherry blossoms, cacti, and tons of good vibes... what is there not to Insta, TBH?
La Diperie
A little stereotypical? Yes. Still completley gorgeous, fun to look at, and delicious to eat? Also yes.
Mount-Royal Lookout
Mount Royal, Montréal, QC H3R 1K2
The classic Montreal shot, the only thing that'll look more fleek than the skyline from this view is your Insta picture.
La Habanera
A giant neon "All You Need Is Love And Mojitos" sign. I don't think I need to say anything more.
Atwater Market
Not only is the Atwater market super fun, and a great place to spend the day, but there is so much to do and see that it's basically begging to be plastered all over IG.
Leaves Cafe
Can a spot be simple, gorgeous, and trendy all at once? Yes. Yes it can. Leaves Cafe is all of this and more, and with their copious cacti and awesome lattes, this spot will leave both you and your Insta following seriously impressed.
Dragon Flowers
Honestly, this is my favourite spot in the whole city to Instagram. There's something so gorgeous about the flowers and simple/familiar about those white bird cages that make it one of the most aesthetically pleasing spots in the city.
Aires Libres
The Airs Libres outdoor art installation in Montreal's Gay Village is gorgeous on any given year. This year, though, it just so happens to be rainbow-themed, making it unique and beautiful and totally, totally Insta-worthy.
Cafe Melbourne
Extravagant brunches, pink drinks, and Britney Spears-approved Lucky Charms lattes make this Plateau cafe the stff of Insta legends.
Montreal World Trade Centre
Quite possibly one of the most gorgeous interiors in Montreal, this spot is begging to be Instagrammed - but even the 'Gram doesn't do it justice, so trust me when I say you need to experience this spot for yourself.
LHotel Montreal
Everyone wants to take a picture in front of the LOVE sign. Don't be ashamed. Just go out, do it, and post it on your Insta.
Musee D'Art Contemporain De Montreal
Sure, you might think the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts is where the IG likes are at. But that's a little tired at this point. If you're going to Insta a museum, head to the MAC instead, for a fresh twist on a much-loved Montreal activity.
Koa Lua
Truth time: we (obviously) do not live in Hawaii. But you can give everyone a glimpse of Hawaii by Instagramming your adventure to Montreal's poke emporium, Koa Lua.
The Clock Tower Beach
Because there's nothing more fun to see than a legit beach, right in the heart of Montreal's Old Port.

Where on Boulevard Saint-Laurent? Everywhere, friend. From the super cute cafes to the gorgeous street art and classic Montreal institutions, The Main is a spot begging to be Instagrammed AF.
Terrasses Bonsecours
Trust, there is nothing more fun than a Boozy Brunch at Terrasse Bonsecours... and nothing more aesthetically pleasing, TBH.
C'ChoColat
Amazing chocolate desserts (including a melting "chocolate bomb") make this spot an Instagram fave.
Bota Bota Spa
A gorgeous boat spa overlooking Old Montreal? I mean, does anything else on this earth scream "Insta worthy" louder than that?
