These Montreal Bars Are Holding Special "RuPaul's Drag Race" Viewing Parties

This time has come, everyone. RuPaul's Drag Race S10 is here!

RuPaul, and RuPaul's Drag Race, alike, have had a HUGE month.

All-Stars 3 crowned Trixie Mattel last week, Mama Ru received a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame (making her the 1st drag queen, ever, to do so) and Season 10 premieres tonight!

Are you ready? You got your drinks planned, outfits set to stun and you're ready to cheer on the new lot of RuGirls all the way to the crown? I'm not sure that I am!

RuPaul's Drag Race has got to be the biggest reality TV program right now, and it's absolutely the best one out there. It's become a worldwide phenomenon with LGBTQ+ folks and everyone else as well.

It can be trying to sit at home and wait for a streaming link to upload, all the while staying off social media to avoid spoilers. Worry not, I have a solution for you!

Did you know that you watchRuPaul's Drag Race, on a big screen? You can!

Viewing parties are all the rage, and in Montreal, we have not 1, but 2 RuPaul's Drag Race viewing parties for you to attend (yeah, we're spoiled, huh?).

One of my friends, and favourite MTL queensUma Gahd is your new host of Bar Le Cocktail's RuPaul's Drag Race viewing parties, every week! This bar offers two levels, with TV's upstairs and a big screen to watch the show on as well.

Accompanied by a stellar drag show after the episode airs, and commentary all throughout - if you're looking for a good event on Thursday nights, this one is for you!

Cabaret Mado with Rita Baga, Tracy Trash, and Barbada

Our famed Drag bar continues hosting their RuPaul's Drag Race viewing parties every Thursday, with a drag show afterward featuring all your favourite Cabaret Mado's resident queens.

Toronto, and Quebec City - I did not forget about you!

If you're in the Toronto area, you can check out the Drag Race S10 viewing party at Apartment 200, every Thursday!

With the most unlikely neighbours as your hostesses; vintage wartime wonder Pearle Harbour and modern hairy mary Beardoncé will be joined by DJ Orange Pekoe, to bring you a 7:30 pre-show, 8:00 RPDR episode, 9:30 Untucked, and quick games and prizes during commercials to get to know our new neighbours.

Find more information here.

Quebec City! Here is your local viewing party:

Via Le Drague Cabaret Club

Le Drague Cabaret Club will be hosting their post-show drag show, starting at 10 PM.

Word to the wise - GO EARLY!

These events are always packed full. So if you want a good table, go a bit earlier. If not, don't stress - it's just as much fun standing and partying with the rest of the late-comers.

I'm sure there will be news of other events popping up as the season progresses, and I promise you I will update this listing as they come!

If none of these events appeal to you and you still can't watch it on cable, go get yourself an OutTVGo streaming subscription!

They're only $4/month and the new episodes are added immediately after airing.
