You're all bundled up in your winter coat, you have your hat, your scarf, your gloves, your earphones and you've made sure that no skin has been left exposed. You're ready for another winter morning in Montreal. Trekking slowly to the bus stop, looking down at your feet to stop the wind from blowing in your face as you make your way through the unplowed sidewalks.
Julien Coquentin is a photographer from Lassouts in France who worked at a Montreal hospital when he decided to shoot a series called "Tot Un Dimanche Matin." (Early One Sunday Morning) Coquentin wanted to capture the feel of an early winter morning in Montreal, and he did so every weekend for 2 years as he was heading home early on Sunday morning after his graveyard shift.
