Montreal has over 50 museums, cultural centers and heritage sites which means visiting them all can be tough on your wallet.
But if you desperately want to soak up some culture without spending a fortune you have two choices.
You can wait until next year for Montreal's free museum day, or you can take advantage of these 8 museums that offer some kind of free entrance deal at some point during the month of august.
Keep in mind some of these places ask for a voluntary donation and they rely on these donations to stay open so if you can, please show them your support.
