With Montreal finally getting hit by such a glorious heatwave residents around the city are gaining that summer driven confidence to let it all hang out, some much more than others.
Montreal's nudist/naturist gathering is rather incognito as some may have noticed, but thankfully, it is far from in-existent. World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR) happens worldwide all throughout the month of June, and as we are now in July and have yet to dare -and-bare all that we have, some local participants took it upon themselves to create an official event; lest we not continue the 9th annual World Naked Bike Ride (Montreal Edition).
Cyclists/nudists/activists have taken the opportunity, to bravely take off their clothes for a cause Saturday July 6th. On the outskirts of the city's core, at Square-Phillips, one beautiful bare-chested day of July you may happen across a group of cyclists, putting their feet down (to the peddle), peacefully cycling against oil dependency, celebrating their bodies and emphasizing their ability to provide independent/sustainable self transportation.
Saturday July 6th, 2013 at 14h, Montrealers will be exercising their right and freedom to move towards a cleaner/healthier city and will challenge the ambiguous municipal laws revolving around 'indecent exposure'.
So step up and strip down, we'll see you there Montreal.
