Montreal festival season isn't quite over just yet!
As summer fatigue sets in and speculation abounds about upcoming fall activities, like a the huge jack'o'lantern display just outside Montreal, August events are often overlooked.
With the exception of Mode & Design.
The celebrated high fashion and design festival has become a staple of the Montreal summer calendar. The event now has international reach, drawing a crowd of thousands of people from all around the world.
Mode & Design takes over the Quartier des Spectacles with a diverse array of talks, exhibitions, and truly unique activities. The best part: most activities are totally free to attend.
One of the biggest attractions is the pop-up fashion market, featuring dozens of clothes, accessory, and decoration vendors.
Food trucks will also descend upon the festival grounds.
The highlight, of course, will be the fashion shows, where models sporting the most avant-garde and cutting edge styles will hit the runway.
Mode & Design is definitely the place to be for trend enthusiasts. Even if you're unable to afford some of the most stunning styles, you may still find some cool new wardrobe or apartment ideas.
The event promises to be a dazzling display. It all begins today with a visual art display by SOiR. The pop-up market kicks off Wednesday.
