People often wonder what Montreal's plans are for the Olympic stadium. Some have suggested demolition, while others have suggested some pretty wacky alternate options.
But as of today, the Olympic Stadium will be taking on it's new role as a refugee shelter for asylum seekers leaving the United States.
The flow of refugees has been so huge and so unprecedented, that the Olympic stadium is the only place spacious enough to house them all.
Volunteers from the Red Cross are busy setting up the stadium with cots and the first wave of asylum seekers are scheduled to arrive today.
