Most People Have No Idea This Unique Zoo On The Island Of Montreal Exists
Prepare to be amazed by nature.
Although I consider myself to be quite the wordsmith (haha, not really, but still), sometimes I do find myself at a loss for words.
And this is one of those times.
I'm actually so excited about this that I don't know where to begin.
Friends, have you ever wanted to see bears IRL?
Or eagles, or owls, or snakes, or a legit lynx? If your answer is yes, then I've got some seriously awesome news for you.
Zoo Ecomuseum (21125 Chemin Ste-Marie), in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, is home to all of these adorable creatures - and many, many more.
Situated in Montreal's West Island, the outdoor zoo is the perfect place to get acquainted with Quebec's animal landscape and meet some super cool animals (did I mention they have bears? And lynxes? And foxes? And porcupines? The list literally goes on and on, guys!)
Honestly, the only bad thing about this place is that I'm not there right TF now.
Entrance to the Zoo Ecomuseum is $16.25 for adults, and 20% off if you have an Opus Card. They're open every day from 9 AM - 5 PM, except on Christmas.
And, just in time for Halloween, the Zoo Ecomuseum will be hosting L'Halloween Au Zoo Halloween event, with animals and guided tours aplenty.
