Outdoor concerts are all the same in Montreal.

Don't get me wrong, they are awesome, but they do come with certain disadvantages.

Most of the time the sound isn't very good, getting a good vantage point can be impossible, especially if you aren't willing to push your way through the thick crowd. And finally, you're stuck on your feet the entire time.

There must be some other kind of outdoor concert. One with a  more intimate and romantic setting. One where you could set up some lawn chairs and spend a relaxing afternoon listening to music surrounded by nature.

Well now there is. The Montreal Botanical Garden is hosting a series of concerts the summer.

Starting June 12 to August 28 there will be a different concert held every Sunday at 2:00 pm in the heart of the garden.

You'll be able to catch some amazing performances without dealing with all the crowds in an adorably intimate setting.

Here are the performances you can catch this summer:

Michel Rivard
