Today is the first day of Fall, and although many people are dreading the arrival of the winter, the ski enthusiasts are welcoming it with open arms.

Temperatures are dropping quickly and it's going to be cold soon anyways, so we might as well get some snow to distract us on the weekends.

Because a winter without snow is like a poutine without gravy, like fries without ketchup or like a pizza without cheese.

Anyways, like I said, some of us just can't wait for the season to start. That's why we decided to figure out the opening date for all the most popular ski hills in Quebec.

Some mountains had the dates listed on their websites, some we called to ask directly, and when there was no information available, we found out what day that hill opened last year.
